Two weeks ago we celebrated mother’s day here in Austria :) I used the occasion to try out a new cake recipe. I’ve already baked plenty of cheesecakes in my life, but haven’t found a satisfactory recipe yet, that had this rich texture and the juicy lemon taste you would expect from an original New York Cheescake.
This one, though, is a real hit!!!!!! I found it on Cupcakes and Cashmere – one of my daily reads. Instead of the blueberries I decided to take fresh strawberries and in place of the American „Graham Crackers“ I used the original Leibniz Butterkeks and they are doing the job very well, trust me – the crust was delicious ♥
To stick the cut strawberries to the cake I spread a layer strawberry jam in between ;)
